The New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants is an association of professionals dedicated to serving the public interest by promoting and advocating for the CPA profession and by delivering services and programs to aid members in the conduct of their professional obligations.

Goals and Objectives
Goal 1: Promote and advocate for the CPA profession
Objective A: Advocate for federal and state regulation that protects members' and the public's interests.
Objective B: Enhance awareness of the value of the CPA.
Objective C: Demonstrate the value of the CPA in the delivery of non-traditional services.
Goal 2: Deliver services and programs to aid members in the conduct of their professional obligations.
Objective A: Serve as an information center for our members.
Objective B: Assist members in complying with regulatory requirements.
Objective C: Exploit technology to create value for our members.
Objective D: Educate members regarding ethical standards and competencies needed to provide professional services in accordance with AICPA Code of Professional Conduct, Public Accountancy Board regulations, and other relevant professional standards.
