About us
The Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants is an active professional organization of over 2,600 Certified Public Accountants working together to improve the profession and better serve the public. Since 1920 the Mississippi Society has been dedicated to the maintenance of high standards of ethics, the promotion of the profession, the establishment and enforcement of public accountancy laws, and the fostering of cooperative relations among its members, industry, government, and the public. Its membership is comprised of practitioners in public accounting, industry. government and education.
As a member of the MSCPA you can actively participate in the development of policies and standards that affect the accounting profession. Each member has the opportunity to work with other dedicated professionals to establish and maintain advanced techniques of accounting, auditing, taxation, practice management, and health care services and the high ethical standards of the profession.
What's more, along with professional rewards come personal ones. By putting MSCPA members in touch with others who share common goals, values and ideals, the MSCPA has fostered many lifelong friendships.
