For years, ACT! has been a solid and well-respected contact-management software product. The latest version, ACT! 2006 (which I would consider more of a final patch to the buggy 2005 version), adds many features to the application. With its improved database scalability and enhanced sales and customer-relationship management (CRM) capabilities, ACT! 2006 is likely to please old fans and attract new users.
