A-Systems Corporation is the creator of Visual Bookkeeper and A-Systems JobView.
A-Systems Corporation was founded in 1978 by Mike Wise, the creator of the PC, according to Byte Magazine. A-Systems was the first to make job costing software for the PC. They were also the first to allow multiple fiscal periods to be open simultaneously.

Visual Bookkeeper is a general accounting package.
